Scope of works
Leading Fire Services are pleased to submit for your consideration our proposal for the repair works to the Loco Assembly Fire Indicator Panel which is currently failing and requires urgent replacement. In our quotation, we are proposing the following works; ** Stage 1 - Pattern Shop F.I.P. ** * We have allowed for the disconnection of all associated cabling within the Pattern Shop Fire Indicator Panel and removal from its current location * Installation of 1 x new replacement Fire Indicator Panel - to be installed in place of the existing Pattern Shop Fire Indicator Panel * Internal termination of all associated cabling within the new Pattern Shop Fire Indicator Panel. * The location and replacement of all existing "end of line" resistor devices on each monitored circuit. All of these will be at height. * Full Test and Commission on completion to confirm correct operation of this new Pattern Shop Fire Indicator Panel. ** STAGE 2 - LOCO ASSEMBLY FIRE PANEL REPAIR ** * Utilising the old Pattern Shop Fire Indicator Panel as spare parts, replace existing failing components within the Loco Assembly Fire Indicator Panel in an attempt to rectify the Critical Defect currently active on this system. * Full Test and Commission on completion to confirm that the Loco Assembly Fire Indicator Panel is bac n line and Operational. ** Please Note that these works are in an attempt to minimise the costs associated with replacing the failing Loco Assembly Fire Indicator Panel. We cannot guarantee that the old redundant parts within the old Pattern Shop Fire Indicator Panel will remain online and operational for the foreseeable future. We would recommend that even if these rectification works are successful, the Progress Rail submits a Capital expenditure (CAPEX) request to allow for this Fire Panel to be replaced in the near future.
