VoidedQ-0225Leading Fire Services are pleased to submit for your consideration our proposal for repairs identified during the recent inspection of the fire protection equipment. As identified in January 2024, there has been serious water damage in the Fire conduits inside the concrete slab in the Basement Carpark. As part of the works done in January, temporary Fire cabling was installed and cable tied to existing services pipework in the basement carpark in an effort to re-establish the Fire loop communications which was successful. In order to complete these repair works, this cabling will need to be encapsulated in surface conduit and installed on the ceiling of the basement carpark. To complete these works, our quotation is for the following; * Attend site and install new 20mm surface conduit in 2 x runs at the front and rear of the basement carpark, fixing to the concrete ceiling. * Installation of new Fire cabling, to be run inside this conduit and interconnecting at each end. Test for Loop integrity on completion of the works. Please Note: * These works are only to rectify the failure items identified in January 2024. No allowance has been made of any additional potential failure items that may have arisen since these temporary repair works were conducted. * Due to the location of these proposed conduit runs, free and clear access will need to be provided for these works. VoidedQ-0215NOTE: 15/05/2024: Moreton Bay Regional Council declined approval of this Fire Panel replacement. Leading Fire Services are pleased to submit for your consideration our proposal for repairs identified during the recent inspection of the fire protection equipment. *The existing Fire Indicator Panel is outdated and an "End of Life" notice has been issued for this Fire Panel from the Supplier. No replacement parts are available for this system if required. The interface buttons on the front of the Fire Panel are starting to break down and are intermittently functioning. VoidedQ-0203Leading Fire Services are pleased to submit for your consideration our proposal for repairs identified during the recent inspection of the fire protection equipment. *NOTE: As advised, all of the exit and emergency lighting on site failed to operate as required. This would more than likely be caused by the severe weather events that have occurred over the Christmas 2023 period. Constant power outages would damage the internal working of these lights. A critical Defect Notice was supplied for these defects due to all Exit and Emergency Lighting failing the required test. In our quotation, we have allowed for the emergency lighting that is currently installed outside under awning to be replaced with weatherproof type. This will also ensure that these lights will be protected from the elements. VoidedQ-0173Dear Shane, Leading Fire Services are pleased to submit for your consideration our proposal for rectifying the Loco Shed Fire Panel failure. As previously advised, the Fire Indicator Panel in the Loco / Assembly Building is failing and requires replacement. In order to facilitate this repair, our proposal is to replace the lower cost Main Fire Indicator Panel located in the Security Gatehouse. This old Security Gatehouse Fire panel will then be utilised to replace failed components in the Loco / Assembly Fire Indicator Panel. In order to carry out these repair works, our quotation is for the following; DAY 1: * Remove and replace the existing Main Fire Indicator Panel located in the Security Gatehouse with a new 16 Zone Conventional Fire Indicator Panel. * As End of line values for line monitoring will be different, we will need to attend to each sub-Fire Indicator Panel and Hydrant Pumps connected to the Main Fire Indicator Panel and replace the line monitoring resistor. * Full Test and commission on completion of these works. DAY 2: * Utilising the parts in the old existing Fire Indicator Panel removed, attend the Loco Shed Fire Indicator Panel and replace the failing parts. * Full Test and commission on completion of these works. ** Note 1: Regarding the repair of the Loco Shop Fire Panel, as we will be utilising existing componentry from the old Main Fire Indicator Panel, there will be no warranty on these components. Warranty will cover labour and workmanship only. Unless specifically noted above, or stated/included within our Scope of Works, the following inclusions, Exclusions, Notes and Conditions will apply: ** Note 2: For the Main Fire Indicator panel, we have also allowed for the supply and installation of 1 x new Pertronics Copper Network card for future use. This will facilitate the interconnection of Fire Panel on a Network system back to the Main Fire Indicator Panel for Point type identification when other Fire Indicator Panel are replaced in the future.
